What is that 'UICC Unlock' menu it 7/4/2016 Under 'System Updates' there is the usual(Profile, Prl, software, and firmware update buttons) but I've never seen the last option, which is UICC Unlock.
Sep 06, 2017 There was indeed a posting regarding an ongoing issue with a UICC Unlock dialog frequently presenting itself on Moto E2s. To the best of my knowledge, there is no fix for this. Any fix will require Motorola to patch the Android operating system on. Sprint says my essential phone is unlocked but the phone says it. The OMADM updates --> UICC Unlock Says the phone is locked. The bootloader menu says device.
[Help] Relocked to Sprint?
I bought out the Sprint lease about 2 days ago and I was able to successfully UICC unlock this morning. After unlocking I put in my TMobile SIM card and everything was working fine.
Later that night, I was looking through my SIM settings and I saw that it was still saying Sprint with the TMobile SIM. I rebooted the phone to see if that would change, but the it just says 'no SIM card' with the TMobile SIM. It still works fine with Sprint, but it's showing that the UICC is locked again.

Has anyone been able to do this? I upgraded while on my exes account and I paid retail cost for the phone, now I want to unlock it for domestic use. I met all the FCC requirements and Sprint level 1, 2 and 3 tier support have already said the phone is now unlocked via MEID AND IMEI. however T-Mobile and Verizon sim cards aren't recognized. The phone shows signal, but says invalid sim on status bar. I can't even change the apn settings. Any suggestions? I only need talk and text for my daughter she's good with wifi.
