Abstract

Good laboratory must be equipped with facilities to facilitate the use of laboratory in their activities. This study aims to determine how the science laboratory standards in Colomadu districts of junior high school the academic year 2015/2016. This type of research is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques such as interviews with head of the laboratory or with laboratory assistant, observation of the laboratory and laboratory documentation. Results of research on the design of laboratory space in Colomadu districts of junior high school in either category (69,78%). In the administration of the laboratory is equipped with a 100% practicum journal, book borrowing tools and materials for students and teachers of 100%, work program 100%, program science teacher practicum 75%, the list of tools and materials 87,5%, recapitulation practical tool 87,5%, the main book tools IPA 100%, inventory book 100%, schedule laboratory use 100%, discipline laboratories 100%, procurement of equiment and materials 87,5%, laboratory coordination 100%. On the list of practical tools 66,66%, 3-dimensional props 65,62%, 2-dimensional props 89,84%. It can be concluded that the administration of the laboratory included in the excellent category (94,23%). In the biology laboratory tool included in either category (74,04%).
